Storm Lake Pilot Tribune - November 10, 1922 - James Keal, a resident of Storm Lake 12 years ago, died Nov 2, at Yakima, WA after an illness of over a months duration.

He was born in Lincolnshire, England, March 7, 1850 and was 72 years of age at the time of his death. In 1872 he was married to Miss Elizabeth Cook. They lived for some time in Illinois and were for a number of years residents of Storm Lake. In 1910 they moved to Yakima and have since made their home continuously in that city.

The widow and 6 children survive: Mrs C.E. Port of Rockford, IL; W.H. Keal of White Bluffs, WA; Mrs W.G. Avenall and Thomas R Keal of Storm Lake; Mrs Samuel Brand of Dayton, OH; and Mrs Oscar Beam of Zillah, WA.

Miss Bertha Keal preceded her father in death at Yakima 4 years ago.

Funeral services were held at Yakima, after which the body was then brought to Storm Lake accompanied by Oscar Beam, also formerly of Storm Lake. Short services were held at the home Wednesday, Nov 8 and later at the First Methodist church in Storm Lake. Burial was in the Storm Lake cemetery.
