Storm Lake Register - May 10, 1938 - Funeral services for Mrs George Egerer of Asotin, WA, former resident of Storm Lake were held at the Hughes Funeral Home Monday afternoon.

Alice Mabel Sanborn was born at Epworth, Dubuque county, Iowa on Feb 5, 1860, the daughter of Caroline P and John P Sanborn. She came to Storm Lake with her parents in 1876 at the age of 17 years.

On Feb 10, 1882 she was united in marriage to George Egerer of Storm Lake. To this union 7 children were born. Three died in infancy. They continued to make their home in Storm Lake until the spring of 1926 when they move to Seneca, SD.

Mr Egerer passed away Feb 11, 1931 and since that time Mrs Egerer had made her home with her daughters in Washington. Mrs Egerers chief interests were in her home and community.

Mrs Egerer passed away Wednesday May 4 at Asotin, WA following a weeks illness. At the time of her death, she was 76 years, 2 months, and 29 days.

She is survived by four children: Mrs Ruth Conrad of Storm Lake, Elsie M and Eunice C of Asotin, and Roland A Seattle, WA; 3 grandchildren, one brother, John A Sanborn of Storm Lake; and three sisters: Mrs Nellie M Bard of Storm Lake; Mrs Emma B Koch of Bartlesville, OK; and Mrs Jessie H Rolland of San Diego, CA.

The body was accompanied to Storm Lake from Washington by Mrs Emma Koch.
