April 20, 1921 - May 31, 2014

LaDonna M. Keiser, age 93, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at the Methodist Manor Retirement Community in Storm Lake.

LaDonna Vaught was born on April 20, 1921, in Ida Grove, Iowa, a daughter of George and Nora (VanNess) Vaught. Growing up, she attended school in Sioux Rapids, graduating with the class of 1938.

On December 4, 1950, LaDonna married C. Darrel Keiser in Sioux Rapids. They were blessed with one son, George.

A member of the United Methodist Church in Storm Lake, LaDonna enjoyed helping with the church library and participating in the ladies' circle.

LaDonna treasured her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, George (Rosemary) Keiser, of Sedona, Arizona; her grandchildren, Angela (Ken) Gray, of Aiken, South Carolina, and Julie (Reginald) Staples, of Charlotte, North Carolina; her great grandchildren, Allyson and Kathryn Gray and Ava Staples; and her niece, Patricia (Dave) Barngrover, of Smithland, Iowa; as well as extended family members and many friends.

LaDonna was preceded in death by her husband, C. Darrel Keiser; her parents, George and Nora Vaught; two brothers, Leonard and George, Jr.; and two sisters, Zora and Georgia.

Visitation: 5:00-7:00 p.m., June 02, 2014, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m., June 03, 2014, at the United Methodist Church in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Interment: June 03, 2014, at the Storm Lake Cemetery in Storm Lake, Iowa.
