Bonijo G. Schreier, age 70, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on Friday, January 24, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Bonijo Gene Sharp was born on December 15, 1943, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Rae and Josephine (Cobb) Sharp. Baptized at St. Joe’s Cathedral in San Diego, California, in April of 1966 and confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake in May of 1972, she attended school in Storm Lake, graduating in 1962.

On June 16, 1962, Bonijo married Ronald William Schreier in San Diego, California. They were, subsequently, blessed with four children: Ronald, David, Lori, and Paul.

Bonijo spent many years working at AlCo in Storm Lake. A long-time member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, she served as a School of Faith Teacher. She also belonged to the Buena Vista Sno-Drifters.

Bonijo loved spending time with her family, especially outdoors. Indeed, she cherished her many memorable experiences while camping, snowmobiling, and fishing. She also enjoyed sewing.

Bonijo will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Ronald Schreier, of Storm Lake, Iowa; her children: Ronald (Tammy) Schreier, of Lafayette, Indiana, David (Vicky) Schreier, of Storm Lake, Iowa, Lori (Kelly) Peterson, of Belle Plaine, Minnesota, and Paul (Denise) Schreier, of Storm Lake, Iowa; her grandchildren: Nathan (Amanda), of St. Joe, Missouri, Nina Schreier, of Fremont, Nebraska, Jason (Carol) Schreier, of Nemaha, Iowa, Cody Schreier, of Storm Lake, Iowa, Lauren Peterson, of Belle Plain, Minnesota, Logan Peterson, of Belle Plaine, Minnesota, Tawney Schreier, of Storm Lake, Iowa, and Brayden Schreier, of Storm Lake, Iowa; her brother, Rae (Ricky) Sharp, of Martinsville, Indiana; and her sister, Ryta (Dave) Freeze, of Westside, Iowa.

Bonijo was preceded in death by her parents, Rae and Josephine Sharp, and her parents-in-law, William and Loreta Schreier.

Visitation: 4:00-7:00 p.m. with a rosary at 3:45 p.m., January 27, 2014, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m., January 28, 2014, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Vigil Service: 7:00 p.m., January 27, 2014, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa.
