Chloe Marie Binder
June 30, 2009 - February 14, 2014

Alta

Chloe Marie Binder, age 4, and Camille Margelet Binder, age 2, of Alta, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014, at the Avera McKennan Hospital and University Health Center of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After a tragic accident, they were embraced in the arms of Jesus in Heaven.

Chloe and Camille were born to Dan and Heather Binder in Storm Lake, Iowa, on June 30, 2009, and April 10, 2011, respectively. The sisters especially loved playing dress up together, playing with big brother Nate, running to give Daddy hugs when he came in the door, carrying firewood, riding with Daddy whenever possible, and coming down to snuggle with Mommy every morning. Some of the most special times were before bedtime every night when they read stories and sang and danced to music with Mommy and Daddy.

An exceptionally friendly and outgoing four-year old, Chloe never met a stranger because everyone she met was already her friend.

Mommy’s little cuddle-bug, Camille, two-years old, especially enjoyed her bedtime lullabies with Mommy. She loved copying everything Chloe did.

They were preceded in death by Uncle Amos Blodgett of Ottawa, Kansas.

Those left to cherish their memory include their loving parents, Dan and Heather Binder, of Alta; their brother, Nathaniel Harmes; their grandparents, Bob and Carol Blodgett, of Storm Lake, Iowa, and Denny and Lisa Binder, of Alta; their aunts and uncles, Julie (Rob) Perryman, of Sergeant Bluff, Uncle Amos’s wife, Toni Blodgett, of Ottawa, Kansas, and Barry (Renae) Binder, of Alta; their cousins, Alexis and Aiden Perryman and Olivia and Lennell Binder; and their great-grandparents, Don and Margaret Binder, of Alta; as well as many extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the Alta-Aurelia High School Gymnasium of Alta with the Revs. Terry W. Pollard and Remigio P. Panlaqui officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014, from 2:00–8:00 PM at the Alta-Aurelia High School Gymnasium of Alta. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to help defray the family’s expenses. Memorials may be sent to MetaBank, 121 E. 5th St. P.O. Box 1307, Storm Lake, Iowa 50588.
