Albert City Rites On Friday for Mrs. Yarda Ray

Mrs. Yarda Ray, 84, of Albert City, passed away at the Pleasantview Nursing home early Monday, April 23, 1979.

A native of the Albert City community, Mrs. Ray had also resided in Storm Lake for about fifteen years. She and her husband operated restaurants in Storm Lake, Hawarden, and, for several years, in Albert City.

Surviving are three daughters, Gail Nichols and Lois Adams, of Albert City, and Jane, Mrs. Jim Scott, of Loomis, California; two sons, Rev. Roland Adams, of Satellite Beach, Florida., and Jim Adams, of Storm Lake; and eight grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Ray have been set for 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 27, 1979, in the Evangelical Free Church of Albert City with the Rev. Dale Anderson officiating. Interment to be in Fairfield cemetery. The Sliefert funeral home of Albert City in charge of arrangements.
