Storm Lake, IowaJesus Mancilla Salcedo, age 42, of Storm Lake, Iowa, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011, at his home in Storm Lake.
Jesus Mancilla Salcedo was born April 26, 1969, to Jesus Mancilla Guzman and Amalia Salcedo Rodriguez in Mexico City, Mexico. Jesus was baptized into the Catholic Church in 1970 and continued to practice his faith throughout his life. Growing up, he attended school and was a part of the graduating class of 1985.
Jesus was blessed with three children: Anthony, Alexandra, and Jessica.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and had an talent for drawing. Jesus loved his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children: Anthony Lanham, of Bellevue, Nebraska, Alexandra Lanham, of Bellevue, Nebraska; and Jessica Rench, of Denver, Colorado; his parents, Jesus Mancilla Guzman and Amalia Salcedo Rodriguez of Mexico City, Mexico; his brothers: Juan (Maria) Mancilla, of Phoenix, Arizona, Ramon Mancilla, of Tampa, Florida, Adan Mancilla, Miguel Mancilla, Angel (Liliana) Mancilla, Enrique (Rita) Mancilla, and Javier Mancilla, all of Mexico; his sisters: Maria Elena (Javier), Bertha (Eduardo), and Eva (Gaston), also all of Mexico; as well as extended family and many friends.
Visitation: 5:00-10:00 p.m. June 20, 2011, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Mass of Christian Burial: 5:00 p.m. June 21, 2011, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Storm Lake, Iowa.
