Consumption claimed the life of Miss Lizzie Meents, of Loveland, Colorado, last Friday night. She was about 21 years of age. George Gerner, her stepfather, accompanied the body here which arrived Tuesday afternoon, and was taken to the home of her brother-in-law Henry Grosshausser. Sister, Mrs. Will Hyde, of Pomeroy, came the same day. Funeral services were held at the German Lutheran church on Wednesday with burial in that cemetery.
