After a lingering illness of some duration John Sigfried Miller died at the L. M. Miller home south of town Wednesday, February 21st at the age of 40 years, 11 months and 10 days. He was born in Ottumwa, Iowa, and spent about 12 years at Omaha, and came here about two months ago. A sister, Mrs. Kenneth, and two brothers Oscar and Albert and the father survive him; two sisters have preceded him.

The funeral services will be held from the house at 1 p. m. this Friday and will be in charge of Rev. Wenstrand. Interment will be made in the Fairfield cemetery.
