Earl Peterson, 59 Of Rembrandt, Is Laid to Rest

Final rites for Earl R. Peterson, 59, stock buyer for Rath Packing company of Rembrandt, were held Monday afternoon, Jan. 2, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with Pastor J. C. Jorgenson officiating. Burial was in Little Sioux Valley Cemetery with the Henry Funeral home in charge.

Peterson died in the Storm Lake hospital following a short illness, on Saturday. He was born in Pocahontas County on Feb. 1, 1901, and lived most of his life in the Rembrandt community.

He is survived by three brothers, Curtis, Vernon, and Hollis, all of Rembrandt.

Casket bearers were Claire Wellmerling, Emmet Skov, Earl Eastman, I. E. Mosbo, Edward Mosbo, and Harold Stone. G. E. Bentley was soloist accompanied on the organ by Miss Connie Hatlen
