Ronald Shaeffer
November 19, 1941 - January 21, 2019

Ronald Dean Shaeffer was born on November 19, 1941, to Roy and Mabel Shaeffer in Storm Lake, Iowa. In May 1960, he graduated from Storm Lake high School. In January 1961, he joined the U.S. Air Force and served his country for four years. On August 16, 1961, he married his high school sweetheart, Diane Luft. On February 1, 1971, he became a very proud father of a daughter, Ronnette.

He is proceeded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bruce and Jerry; and his sister, Joline. He is survived by his wife and daughter and many nieces and nephews. Ron was living in Cave Junction, Oregon, at the time of his death on January 21, 2019. He had been fighting liver cancer. A loving and caring husband and father, he will be missed by many.
