February 27, 1990 - December 21, 2016

Justin J. Kestner, age 26, of Rembrandt, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 21, 2016.

Justin was born on February 27, 1990, in Berlin, Germany, to Donald, Sr., and Sandra (Lewis) Kestner. He was baptized into the Lutheran faith after returning to the States.

Justin grew up in Rembrandt with his brother, Donald, Jr., and sister, Lindsay. He attended Sioux Central School where he enjoyed wrestling, science, and FFA. Nonetheless, he graduated from Midland Park High School in 2007.

A very passionate young man, Justin had his several interests including his love for others, drawing, the outdoors, and animals.

Justin’s life will, always, be loved, cherished, and honored by his family which includes his mother, Sandra (Ray) Eickholt, of LeMars, Iowa; his father, Donald Kestner, Sr., of Rudolph, Ohio; his brother, Donald Kestner, Jr., of Jonesville, Virginia; his sister, Lindsay Kestner (Josh Henderson), of Spencer, Iowa; his aunts: Debra (Randy) Stoneburner, of Beaverdam, Ohio, and Jenny (Jon) Gary, of Lima, Ohio; and three cousins: Cassie (Kent) Betts, Joshua Bellomy, and Alexa Gary. Other survivors include: Arlene Albers and Rhonda Parker, both of Sioux City, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Judith Lewis.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Rembrandt. A private family burial will follow at a later date. Visitation will take place Monday, December 26, 2016, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is overseeing the arrangements.
