April 26, 1945 - July 14 2016

Nita Lynn Barber Zitzmann was born on April 26, 1945, in Storm Lake and passed away peacefully at her home in Marietta, Georgia, on July 14, 2016.

Nita is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Gary Zitzmann; her daughters, Lolaine (Buddy) Batreal, of Springfield, Missouri, Sondra (Britt) McClain, of Bowling Green, Missouri, Heather (Joe) Carey, of Newton, Illinois, and Alison (Clay) Kresno, of Plainfield, Illinois; her grandchildren: John, Kyle, Christopher, Brittney, Cody, Caitlin, Megan, Nathan, Abigail, Olivia; her great- grandchildren, Amelia and Scarlet; her siblings: Dianne (the late Don) Sliefert, Sue Koehler, and special friend, Trace, and Jim (Syd) Barber.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Alice Barber, and her siblings: Saundra, Jack, Billy, and Doug Barber, Marlene O'Dell, and Judy Tobin.
