STORM LAKE PILOT - Wed, Mar 3, 1875 – Died in Maple Valley township, Feb 23, 1875 Nancy J Hawkins, aged 62 years, 5 months, and 23 days. This aged and excellent woman bore her suffering with patience and Christian fortitude. Thus a mother in Israel has been gathered to the eternal home of the blessed and the redeemed. She died happy, blessing the precious name of Jesus.
