STANTON, LOGAN, MALBONE, MILLER

March 26, 1936 - Storm Lake Buena Vista County Herald - Burial services for M.T. Stanton of Ruthven, former Storm Lake resident, were held Sunday afternoon at the Storm Lake cemetery at 4 o'clock. Mr. Stanton passed away at his home in Ruthven Thursday, March 19, at the age of 80 years.

He is survived by two sisters: Mrs. Margaret Malbone and Mrs. W.F. Miller, and one brother, C.W. Stanton, all of Storm Lake.

Mrs. Jean Woodruff Caldwell sang "The Old Rugged Cross" at the grave. Rev. Beldan Weikel of Ruthven was in charge of the services. Six nephews of the deceased acted as bearers: Harold Stanton of Storm Lake, Oliver and Homer Stanton of Ruthven, Floyd Barnes of Lake Park, Clifford Stanton of Maquoketa, and Walter Stanton of Storm Lake.

He is survived by his wife and two children: Arnold Stanton and Mrs. R.L. Logan of Ruthven; and three grandchildren: Thomas, Mary Jean, and Margaret Logan. A brother, Bert Stanton of Spencer, also survives.

Those from Storm Lake attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. George Daniels and sons, Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Stanton and Walter, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rhinehart, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stanton, Mrs. Jim Munfell, Mrs. Margaret Malbone, Mrs. Grace Stanton, and George Odiet, and Ernest Stanley.
