Storm Lake Pilot Tribune - Fri, Dec 29, 1899 – After an illness of almost 10 years the last year being one of much suffering, Mrs Soeth died at her home in Grant township early Tuesday morning.

She was a native of Germany and she was born Aug 6, 1836. In 1852 she was united in marriage to Mr Soeth and moved to Iowa, living in Dubuque, Dyersville, and Buena Vista county. In all these places Mr and Mrs Soeth were closely connect with church work. Mrs Soeth united with the Congregational church here.

The funeral service was held Wednesday at the home of the deceased and the body was laid to rest in the cemetery.
