Storm Lake Register - Tue, Jan 26, 1937 - Joseph Smith, an inmate at the County Farm for the past four years and formerly of Linn Grove died Monday morning following an attack of influenza.

Mr Smith was 86 years old at the time of his death. He was an early resident of Tama county before moving to Linn Grove.

His only relative, a sister, died about 2 months ago in California. The body is at the Fiscus Funeral home pending funeral arrangements.
