Died January 30, 1874 of Palsy, Ma Joseph Hughes, aged 61 years.

Mr Hughes was a native of Switzerland, had resided at this place about two years and was respected by all who knew him. He leaves a wife and children with whom we truly sympathize in their great loss. The funeral services took place last Sunday, Rev B.F. Snook of Marion officiating
