Storm Lake Pilot Tribune - Nov 24, 1922 - Mrs. C.H. Sanderman, who died November 14, at her home at 528 Grand Avenue, was a life long resident of Buena Vista county. She was the daughter of Edward and Louise Mauser of Storm Lake, and was born in Hayes township in the year 1878. In her infancy she was baptized in the Reformed church and in due time made a public confession, was confirmed and received as a member of the church.

On February 24, 1904, she was united in marriage with Carl H. Sanderman. She lived in Storm Lake the greater part of her married life. On Friday, November 3, she became ill with tonsilitis, but her illness was not thought serious until it developed into quinsy and later into septicemia. The best of care was provided but the end came on the afternoon of November 14.

She was a kind and devoted wife, daughter and sister, and leaves to mourn, her husband, her mother, besides two brothers and four sisters: Wlliam and Richard of Hayes township; Alvine of Winfred, S.D.; Nora of Scott township; Tillie and Delia, of Hayes township.

Her father, preceded her in death about five years ago.

Funeral services were held at the Lakeside Presbyterian church Friday, November 17, at 2:30 p.m. in charge of Rev. M. Greiman of Schaller. The pall bearers were George J. Schaller, Henry Johnston, Loman Hokum, Wm Gutel, Wm. Halvorsen and Ben Hollenbeck.

Relatives from a distance who were in attendance were: Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Schaefer of Winfred, S.D., Mr. and Mrs. Herman Sanderman of Three Hills, Alberta, Canada, Mrs. H.H. Schaefer of Manly, Iowa, and Mrs. Homeier and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kraimbring of Fort Dodge.
