STORM LAKE PILOT-TRIBUNE - Thu, Aug 10, 1961 - Louisa Manska Strebelow, the daughter of Karl Manska and Louise Mosler Manska, was born March 24, 1873 in Delaware township, Sac County. Her early life was spent at the Fanning home near Nemaha due to the death of her mother when she was an infant. She attended country school and then came to Storm Lake at the age of 16 where she completed her schooling.

At the age of 18 she married Richard Roberts. To this union four children were born: Edmond A Roberts, Alma, MI (deceased); Oren M Roberts, Storm Lake (deceased); Mrs Lucille Veach, Storm Lake; and Mrs Geneva Heuss, Keokuk.

Mr Roberts passed away in 1920. In Jan 1927, she married William Strebelow. She was one of the older long time residents of Storm Lake. She had lived for 72 consecutive years in Storm Lake. She passed away Aug 5.

She is survived by her husband, William Strebelow; two daughters: Mrs Lucille Veach and Mrs Geneva Heuss; four sisters and three brothers: Mrs Alice Wilson, Storm Lake; Will Manska, Storm Lake; Mrs R.A. Moore, Creston; Mrs Morris Westmorland, Zearing; Mrs William Hartman, Storm Lake; Karl Manska, Omaha; and George Manska, Morris, MN.

Services were held Aug 8. Interment was in the Storm Lake cemetery.
