STORM LAKE PILOT TRIBUNE - Mar 4, 1921 - Augusta Emelia Sandquist was born in Sweden on February 18, 1852. She came to the United States about forty-five years ago, locating first at Rockford, IL., where she remained for about five years.

From there she moved in Storm Lake, Iowa where she married on January 21, 1885 to Claus Peterson. To her were born four children: Orville, living at Spokane, Wash., Lillian, Walter, and Alice, all at home. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. P.A. Hagblade, of Sioux City, Iowa.

She passed away at 12:30 on Thursday afternoon, February 24, 1921. The funeral was conducted by the Rev. Donald M. Grant, D.D., pastor of the Lakeside Presbyterian church on Saturday afternoon at two-thirty.
