James E. Condon

James E. Condon, age 65, of Fonda, Iowa, died on April 26, 2016, at his home in Fonda.

James Edward Condon, a son of Cyril and Lorene (Bram) Condon, was born on August 22, 1950, in Storm Lake, Iowa. He attended school in Storm Lake, graduating in 1968. On June 24, 1985, he married Virginia Sebben in Fonda.

James loved spending his free time fishing, and he enjoyed fishing trips to North Dakota and Canada. He, also, had many “special” dogs throughout his life. Most of all, James cherished the time spent with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Virginia Condon, of Fonda, Iowa; his children: Tony (Katie) McCreery, of Omaha, Nebraska, Ann McCreery, of Storm Lake, Iowa, Aaron (Carmen) McCreery, of Omaha, Nebraska, Peter Reis, of Fonda, Iowa, and Margaret Reis, of Fonda, Iowa; his grandchildren: Andy, Elliot, Emily, Isaiah, Jordan, Kennedy, Madison, Matt, Olivia, Ryan, and Tim; his brother, Tom (Pam) Condon, of Fort Dodge, Iowa; his sisters, Barb (Tom) King, of Glenwood, Iowa, and Kim (Terry) Zimmerman, of Storm Lake, Iowa; and his nieces and nephews: Michelle, Jeremiah, Collin, Tyonia (Jared), Mylea, and Skylar; as well as extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held Monday, May 2, 2016, at 3:30 p.m. at the Cedar Cemetery in Fonda. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to UnityPoint Hospice in Storm Lake. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
