Storm Lake Buena Vista Vidette - November 20, 1885 - Died at her home in this city, Monday morning Nov 15, 1885 of dropsy in her 68th year, Mrs Elizabeth Gustine, wife of Lemuel Gustine.

Deceased came to this country with her husband in 1865 and settled on farm west of town being nearly the first settler who came to this wild country.

The funeral services were held in the M.E. church of which Mrs Gustine had been a member since early in life, Rev B.H. Taylor officiating after which the remains were deposited in the Storm Lake cemetery followed by many friends and mourning relatives.
