Michael Gene Konradi
December 22, 1963 - March 22, 2015Michael Gene Konradi, 51, of Storm Lake, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at a Sioux City hospital following a long illness.
Mike, a son of Floyd and Laura (Gregory) Konradi, was born on December 22, 1963, in Storm Lake, Iowa. He grew up in Storm Lake and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Storm Lake in 1982. On July 28, 2007, he married Janice Lengle in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
A member of Sunnybrook Community Church and the Buena Vista Gun Club, Mike worked for Control System Specialists in Alta, Iowa, for several years.
Survivors include his wife, Janice, of Storm Lake, Iowa; a son, Mitchell Konradi, of Meza, Arizona; three daughters, Jessica Sitzmann, Candice Parker, and Mariah Parker; his mother, Laura Madsen; a brother, James Konradi, and his wife, Kris, of Storm Lake; and a grandson, Brett Stizmann. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Floyd.
Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, at Sunnybrook Community Church in Sioux City. Burial will take place in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, with the family present from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel in Sioux City. Pallbearers will be Doug Oehler; Donnie Lengle; and Joe, Rod, Danny, and David Bligh.
