Joline E. "Jo" Bumann-Moser, age 87, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at the Methodist Manor Retirement Community in Storm Lake.

Born August 19, 1925, in Storm Lake, Iowa, the daughter of Roy W. and Mabel (Dennis) Schaeffer, Jo was baptized at the United Methodist Church in Storm Lake on April 2, 1939, and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in rural Alta on February 28, 1944.

Growing up, Jo attended school in Storm Lake, graduating from Storm Lake High School in May of 1943. On February 1, 1944, she married Earl R. Bumann at St. John’s Lutheran Church in rural Alta, Reverend Bahr officiating. To this union two daughters were born, Cynthia and Trudy.

After Earl passed away, Jo married Don Moser at St. John’s Lutheran Church in rural Alta on November 16, 1996. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Storm Lake.

A farm wife, Jo enjoyed helping with all aspects of life on the farm. An avid golfer, she also liked playing cards and fishing with her grandchildren. For many years, she also enjoyed wintering in Texas. A family centered person, she always liked visiting with family and friends as time permitted.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Don Moser, of Storm Lake, Iowa; her daughters: Cindy (Scott) Schuelke, of Storm Lake, Iowa, and Trudy (Keith) Pierson, of Bend, Oregon; her grandchildren: Kris Bauer, Jason (Keri) Schuelke, and Cady (Ismael) Hernandez; her great grandchildren: Erin and Jaye Schuelke, Jill Bauer, and Pilly and Noah Hernandez; her brother, Ron (Diane) Schaeffer, of Oregon; two stepsons, Jay and Steve Moser; and one stepdaughter, Susan Winterboer; as well as extended family and friends.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Earl Bumann; two brothers, Jerry and Bruce Schaeffer; and one sister-in-law.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., July 08, 2013, at Grace Lutheran Church in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Interment: July 08, 2013, at Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in Storm Lake, Iowa.
