Linda Kae (Nelson) Pierce, 66, of Sun City, Arizona, died on November 15, 2012.

Linda was born in Iowa City on March 10, 1946, to Lloyd and Velma (Bishop) Nelson. Confirmed at the Evangelical Free Church in Albert City, she attended Albert City grade school and Webb-Gillet Grove junior high and high school where she graduated.

She lived her adult life in Fort Dodge and the Phoenix, Arizona, area, working as a bookkeeper and for the last fifteen years as a medical technician in Sun City.

She was a very loving caretaker who also saw to the welfare of her dogs.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Al Pierce, of Sun City, Arizona; her son, Lloyd (JoAnne), of Peoria, Arizona; her sister, Ruth (Jerry) Richter, of Newell; her niece, Faith (Michael) Dick, of Clear Lake; her nephews, Randy (Rhonda) Richter, of Newell, and Chris (Melissa) Richter, of Storm Lake; her grandnieces: Mandy Richter, Melanie (Nate) Sweerin, and Stephanie and Marcie Dick; her grandnephews: Mark, Jason, and Isaac Richter; and a great-grandniece, Natalie Ruth Sweerin.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Velma Nelson, and her infant daughter, Hope Ellen.

Funeral services will be held in Sun City on Friday, November 30 2012. She will be buried at a later date in Albert City.
