Ella M. (Lohrman) Hageman Wilson, age 108, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died October 19, 2011, at the Methodist Manor Retirement Community in Storm Lake.

Ella was born January 4, 1903, in Westside, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Anna (Kruthoff) Lohrman. She was baptized into the Lutheran faith at her home when she was five days old. In 1918, she was confirmed at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hornick, Iowa.

Growing up, Ella attended country school through the eighth grade and graduated from Climbing Hill Consolidated School in 1923.

On December 23, 1925, Ella married Carl A. Hageman in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They were blessed with two children: Vera Jean and Carl J.

Together, they farmed near Correctionville, Iowa, until 1958 when they moved to Sioux City, Iowa, where Ella worked at St. Joseph's Hospital for twelve years before retiring in 1971. Carl A. passed away on May 3, 1971, and Ella moved to Storm Lake in 1974. She married Harrison Wilson on November 10, 1976, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Storm Lake.

Ella was a full pledged member in every way of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Storm Lake. She was a wonderful cook and loved playing cards.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son: Carl J. (Marian) Hageman, of Hampton, Iowa; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Frances Smeling, of Mapleton, Iowa; as well as many nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Carl A. Hageman and Harrison Wilson; two brothers, Clarence and Dewey; and a sister, Bonita Lohrman.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., October 24, 2011, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Storm Lake, Iowa.

Interment: October 24, 2011, at Graceland Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa.
