Rechol Nyantham Rambang, age 41, of Storm Lake, Iowa, died Friday, March 25, 2011.

Rechol was born January 1, 1970, the daughter of Rambang Choul and Rebecca Nyabouth Deng in Sudan. She was baptized in Wulang, Sudan.

On May 25, 1985, Rechol was united in marriage to Jacob Tut Liech in Sudan. Together, they were blessed with seven children: Mary Nyandow Tut, Isaac Nyal Tut, John Buay Tut, Moses Liech Tut, Nyagua Tut, Nyakim Tut, and Nyachudear Tut.

Rechol was a member of the Women’s Lou Nuer Community and the Sudanese Nuer Choir. She enjoyed traveling to Ethiopia to visit her mother.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jacob Tut Liech of Storm Lake, Iowa; children: Mary Nyandow Tut, Isaac Nyal Tut, John Buay Tut, Moses Liech Tut, Nyagua Tut, Nyakim Tut, and Nyachudear Tut, all of Storm Lake, Iowa; her mother, Nyathim, of Gumbella, Ethiopia; and a sister, Nyaneed, of Akoba, Sudan; as well as extended family and many friends.

Visitation: 5-7:00 p.m. April 01, 2011, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. April 02, 2011, at Lakeside Presbyterian Church in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Interment: April 02, 2011, at Storm Lake Cemetery in Storm Lake, Iowa.
