Storm Lake, IowaRay Williams, age 75, of Storm Lake, Iowa died March 6, 2011, at his home in Storm Lake.
Ramon “Ray” Paul Williams was born September 21, 1935, in Bandon, Oregon, the son of Phil and Grace (Marden) Williams. Growing up, Ray attended school in Oregon where he graduated from high school in Corvallis, Oregon.
On January 13, 1955, Ray entered the United States Army where he served his country until he was honorably discharged on January 12, 1962.
On April 15, 1995, Ray was united in marriage to Janet at the Moose Lodge in Storm Lake.
Ray enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He was a people person and loved meeting new people. Ray treasured his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Janet, of Storm Lake, Iowa; his children, Kevin and Andy; six grandchildren; and extended family and friends.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Phil and Grace, and a daughter, Faith.
Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. March 09, 2011, at the Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake, Iowa.
