Richard J. Kay - Sept. 16, 1936 - May 2, 2008

Richard J. Kay, age 71, of Storm Lake, Iowa, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2008, at the Careage Hill Nursing Home in Cherokee, Iowa.

Richard J. Kay was born on September 16, 1936, in Mason City, Iowa, to James and Stella Kay. He was baptized into the Catholic faith as an infant. He graduated from Mason City High School. Richard enjoyed many activities such as fishing, traveling, and flying remote control airplanes.

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers: Jim (Blanche) Kay of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Jerry (Ann) Kay of Spanaway, Washington; and sister, Jean (James) Osegaro of Storm Lake, Iowa.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, James and Stella Kay; one sister, Josephine; and one brother, Donald.

No services are scheduled. Inurnment will be at a later date in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Mason City, Iowa.
