Dear Ms. Widmann:

I am writing you regarding the wedding invitation for Jocob Bernhardt Steinmetz and Elizabeth Luther. I may be able to shed some light on it. These are my maternal grandparents. They went on to have three children, Catherine (1910), my mother, an infant who died near birth, and George Dixon Steinmentz (1912). He passed away of a heart attack or stroke in the early 20's. He was walking in on the front side walk to the house and never made it. She died in the early 50's following a long illness. My mother gave me his middle name.
