Joseph P. Roth,71, died of natural causes Thursday in his home.

Survivors include five sons, John, Joseph Jr., Michael and David, all of Oelwein, and James of Rowley; six daughters, Chris Roete of Oelwein, Susan Davis of Apple Valley, Calif., Vicki Claus of Fairbank, Roseanne White of Milwaukee, Mary Solberg of Jesup and Kim Rechkemmer of Walker; five sisters, Ann Coselman and Dorothy Gloede, both of Oelwein, Till Hammond of Lakewood, Colo., Marie Kirby of Des Moines and Helen O'Laughlin of Independence; and a brother, Paul of Greensville, Miss.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oelwein. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery, Hazleton. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at Hintz-Geilenfeld Funeral Home, Oelwein, where there will be a Knights of Columbus rosary at 7.
