Clarence M. Miller, age 89, of Hazleton, Iowa, formerly of Middlefield, Ohio, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008.

He is survived by his wife, Ada Helmuth Miller; five sons, Melvin (Elizabeth), Clarence Jr. (Anita), Noah (Rebecca), Amos (Sara) and Allen (Rebecca); two daughters, Sara (Mahlon) Mast and Susan (John) Miller; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Miller; two step-sons, Rudy (Lydia) Helmuth and Freeman (Mary) Helmuth; two step-daughters, Katie (Abe) Raber and Martha (Daniel) Yoder; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Nancy Gingerich Miller; two sons, Alfred Miller and William Miller; and two step-sons, Eli Helmuth and Harley Helmuth.

Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, at Melvin C. Miller’s residence, 17760 Peters Road, Middlefield, Ohio.

Burial will be at Nauvoo Road Cemetery, Middlefield Township, Ohio. Arrangements by RUSSELL FUNERAL SERVICE of Middlefield, Ohio.
