William S. Quario, Jr, 72, of Hazleton, Iowa, died Wednesday morning, August 10, 2022, at his home.

Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein with Rev. Josh Schunk officiating.

Visitation: 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, August 12, 2022, and for one hour before the service at the funeral home on Saturday.

Interment: Hazleton Fontana Cemetery, Hazleton.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and masks are suggested at the visitation and service.

William Stephen Quario, Jr. was born July 30, 1950, in Oelwein, the son of William LaVerne and Dorothy Ella (Gowers) Quario. He received his education from the Oelwein Community Schools. Bill moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he worked in home remodeling. He later moved to Madison, Wisconsin where he did maintenance in hotels. In 2010, he moved to Hazleton and currently worked at Second Chance New & Used in Oelwein. Bill was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oelwein. He enjoyed guitars, cars, model airplanes, music, family and friends.

Bill is survived by his children: Stephanie Love (Joe Ritter) of Oelwein, Christine Quario of West Des Moines, Lisa (Tim) Fox of Vesper, Wisconsin, Beth Quario of Coalville, Q Hommen-Quario of Dubuque, Amber Quario of Cassville, Wisconsin and Joshua Quario of Hillsboro, Wisconsin; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; siblings: Dorothy Davis of Oelwein, Robert (Dianna) Quario of Waterloo and Randy Quario of Hazleton; several cousins; nieces; and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents: William in 1991 and Dorothy in 2018; son: Shawn Lee Quario in 1997; sister: Twilight Quario in 2007; and sister-in-law: Lynn Quario in 2010.
