Independence- Services for Esther Wiediger, 79, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Independence; burial in Rowley Cemetery, Independence;she died of natural causes Tuesday (May 17)at People's Nursing Center, Independence; Survivors include her husband, Robert; and a sister, Neva Holmes of Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother;a memorial fund has been established for Immanuel Lutheran Church; friends may call after 7 p.m. today at White Funeral Home.
