Charles “Chuck” Ogdahl, 70 years old, of Independence, Iowa, died on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at ABCM Rehab. Center of Independence – East Campus in Independence.

He was born on February 28, 1949, in Iowa, the son of Leland Ellsworth and Margaret Esther(Glaspey)Ogdahl. He graduated from the Shattuck Military School in Minnesota and then graduated from Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, Iowa. Mr. Ogdahl designed and built houses in Des Moines, Iowa. Later, he was the owner and manager of a storage company in Independence. He enjoyed time spend hunting turkeys.

Mr. Ogdahl is survived by 1 daughter, Erica Donald)Griffin of Phoenix, Arizona,3 grandchildren, and 1 sister, Susan(Charles) Townsend of White Hall, Maryland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Gary Ogdahl, and 1 granddaughter.

No public services are planned at this time. White Funeral Home of Independence is in charge of arrangements. A Memorial Fund has been established for the Pipestone Veterinary Clinic of Iowa, 405 20th Ave. S.W., Independence, Iowa 50644.
