Eleanor J. Wason, 76, of Fairbank, Iowa died Friday, May 3, 2019 at Unity Point Health - Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa.

There will be no funeral services.

Eleanor June Guritz was born June 30, 1942 at Maynard, Iowa, the daughter of Willard A. and Ardelle Elizabeth(Logan)Guritz. On December 4, 1965, she married Robert “Bob” Wason at Preston, Minnesota.

Eleanor is survived by her 3 children: Todd Hannan of Fairbank, Toni(Greg)Fisher of Shell Rock and Tim Wason of Fairbank; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sister: Judy(Ab)Bunn of Maynard; brother-in-law: Lee Cosselman of Oelwein; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Bob on October 21, 2014; son: Mark on April 4, 2013; 2 sisters: Nancy Cosselman and Jeanne Schulmeister; brother-in-law: George Schulmeister; and several nephews.
