Bonnie J. Stacy, 70 of Quasqueton, IA died Thursday, October 24, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA.

She was born on December 31, 1947 in Waterloo, IA the daughter of George F. and Esther (Partridge) Lemons. She attended the Waterloo School District and went to work as a CNA in Arkansas for many years. She later moved to Elma, IA where she worked until becoming disabled, and in 1999 she made her home in Quasqueton, IA.

Bonnie loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed having picnics with her family and friends.

Bonnie is survived by her children Wanda Thomas and Bud Stacy both of Quasqueton, IA, five grandchildren, and a brother Donnie Lemons, Nebraska.

She is preceded in death by her parents; George and Esther Lemons, and a son Joe Stacy, two sisters; Dorothy Hyde and Eunice Lemons, and a brother Buster Lemons.

A Celebration of Life and sharing of memories will be held at 2 PM on Sunday November 4, 2018 in the Community Room at the Reiff Family Center in Independence, IA
