Randy Lee Kaufman, 60, of Independence, Iowa died Saturday morning, December 2, 2017 at the Lexington Estates Care Center in Independence, Iowa.

Randy was born on August 6, 1957 in Kingsville, Texas, the son to Melvin and Julia (Sylvia) Kaufman.
He graduated from high school, and in 1992 moved to Independence, Iowa with his family. Randy enjoyed fishing, Typing, Bike Riding, Country and Polka music, crocheting pillows for his family, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan.

He is survived by his brother Kevin (Sonia) Kaufman, Winthrop, Iowa and uncles Larry (Velma) Kaufman and Gary (Linda) Kaufman, both of Toddville, IA, and LeRoy Kaufman, Farmington, New Mexico, and many nieces and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Julia Kaufman.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, December 5th, at the Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence, Iowa with Sharon Bainbridge officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call from 9 AM to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
