LaCinda J. Franck, 62, of Stanley, IA died early Friday morning, February 21, 2014 at her home.

LaCinda was born on December 25, 1952, In Sterling, IL the daughter of Lester C. Russell and LaDema Falck. She received her education at Hawkeye Technical College and became a Registered Nurse. She worked for twenty years as the Director of Nursing at Grandview Health Care Center in Oelwein, IA. She was united in marriage to Lee W. Franck on August 25, 1973, in Independence, IA, and moved to Stanley, IA.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren. For several years she has participated in Relay for Life.

She is survived husband Lee Franck, two sons; Thaddeus (Amanda) Franck Stanley, IA, and Elijah (Jaclyn) Franck, Iowa City, IA, a daughter LuCinda (Brandon) Kieffert, Oelwein, IA, three Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

LaCinda was preceded in death by her parents, a son James Michael Franck, and a brother Roy Fisher.
