Elizabeth “Bette” J. Greco, 81, of Oelwein, Iowa died on Saturday morning, January 8, 2011 at the Oelwein Health Care Center in Oelwein, Iowa

Memorial Mass of the Resurrection: 12 Noon on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein, Iowa; Officiating: Rev. Harry Koelker; Visitation: for 1 hour before the mass at the church; Inurnment: Woodlawn Cemetery at Oelwein, Iowa

A Memorial Fund has been established in her name

Elizabeth Jean Wolfe was born on February 12, 1929 in Independence, Iowa, the daughter of Carl Jube and Mary (Dusman) Wolfe.

She graduated from Independence High School at Independence, Iowa in 1947. Bette married Louis Anthony “Dave” Greco on November 6, 1950 at Independence, Iowa. Dave died on February 4, 2007. She was a homemaker and also a salesperson for Avon. Bette was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rosary Society, and Catholic Daughters of the Americas St. Rita Court # 321. She has been a resident of the Oelwein Health Care Center since April 1, 2009.

Bette is survived by: Daughter—Amy (Greg) Welden of Rimrock, Arizona Many Nieces and Nephews 6 Sister-in-laws and 1 Brother-in-law

She was preceded in death by her Parents—Husband (Louis Anthony “Dave” Greco on February 4, 2007)—Daughter (Sue Powers)—2 Brothers (Carl Wolfe and Herbert Wolfe)—and 2 Sisters (Katherine Stevens and Dorothy Ketchmark).
