DEATH OF MR. NEWMAN CURTIS--Our community has sustained a great loss in the death of Mr. Curtis the past week. He was one of our most substantial, influential, useful and respected citizens. He has left a large family of children and a wife; himself being the first to break the family circle. Mr. Curtis has left a community of sincere mourners, who sympathize with the family in the affliction.
