Hazelton Rites for Mrs. Michels, 81

Mrs. Katherine Mary Michels 81, died at her home here friday afternoon after a few days illness. Mrs. Michels was born May 15, 1871 in Gilbertville Iowa, the daughter of Martin and Catherine Blitsch Tschanhenz

She is survived by four sons: William (Stanley), Raphael (Independence), Andrew (Stanley), and Lawrence (Hazelton), six daughters: Anna Philips (Jesup), Mrs Robert Burke, and Mrs Gordon Birchard (Hazelton), Elizabeth Russell (Waterloo), Louise Hoffman (Fremont, Ohio), and Agnes Roth (Janesville)

Her husband preceded her in death Jan 19, 1939. Funeral Services were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the St Mary's Church with burial in the St Mary's Cementary. The Rev H. Heman officiated.
