JESUP - Taylor Rae Thoma, two weeks old, died Monday, June 30, 1997, at University Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, from a heart related condition.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 3, at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Jesup. The Rev. Fr. Donald P. Schmitt officiated. Burial was at St. Athanasius Church Cemetery.
A parish vigil service was held at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 3, at the White Funeral Home.
Survivors include her parents, Gary and Tiffany Thoma; a sister, Olivia; paternal grandparents, Ted and Rosie Thoma; maternal grandparents,Tom and Sue Mangrich, all of Jesup; paternal great grandparents, Leander and Augusta Thoma, Gilbertville; and maternal great grandparents, Floyd and Ruth Steele, South Dakota.
She was born June 17, 1997, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.
