Looking for John Brimmer and Nellie Brooks

Asking for anyone help locating information on a John Brimmer who married Nellie Brooks they lived in Inependence, Buchanan Co. Iowa.

I presumed John Brimmer was married before he married Nellie Brooks, the dau of Horatio Brooks and Luella Brimmer.

1920 census of Independence finds the following children: Opal, Othel, Agnes, Myrtle, Bertha, Raby and Vincent.

In 1957 Nellie is still living in Independence, Buchanan Co. Iowa.

Any help would be great
