STRANG-BETTLE

Independence, Ia., Nov. 4. – Special: Miss Elizabeth Strang and Carrol Bettle, both of this city were quietly married Saturday evening at St. Joseph’s parsonage, the Rev. Henry A. Holthaus, performing the ceremony. They left during the evening for a short honeymoon, after which they will be at home in this city. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. John Strang, of this city and attended the schools of this city and for the past several months has been employed a clerk in a business establishment here. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bettle, of this city and has to attended the schools and for several years has been employed at the plant of the Independence Produce Company.
