KILLS WIFE AND HIMSELF
Waverly Man Shoots Woman Who Had Left Him.
Hidden behind a tree in the yard of H. K. Lambert at Waverly, Frank Thompson shot and killed his wife, eighteen years old, as she stepped from the house. Thompson fired two shots, both bullets taking effect. He then committed suicide by shooting himself through the head.
Thompson’s wife had left him because he tried to sell her into white clavery.{sic}
