FREDERICKSBURG — Arthur H. Dedor, 98, of Fredericksburg, died Thursday, June 6, at Linn Haven Rehab and Healthcare, New Hampton.

He was born Oct. 10, 1914, in Tripoli, son of George and Mary Krueger Dedor. He married Leona Gitch at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg. She died June 17, 1999.

He received his education in rural country schools in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., and the family later moved back to the Sumner area. Mr. Dedor and his wife farmed near Fredericksburg, retiring into town in 1977.

Survived by: three daughters, Mildred (Ty) Burger and Bernice (Darwyn) Leisinger, both of Waterloo, Virginia Dedor of Elgin; three grandchildren; a sister, Edith (Robert) Gersonde of Sumner; and a sister-in-law, Carmen Dedor of Mason City.

Preceded in death by: two brothers, Edwin and Ernest Dedor; and a sister, Meta Moore.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home, Fredericksburg, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.
