Emil H. Borcherding, 85, died Monday morning, Feb. 20, 1995, in Hillcrest Home, Sumner of Alzheimer's disease. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, St. John Lutheran Church, by the Revs. John Sorenson and Norman Stubbendick. Burial: St. John Lutheran Cemetery, rural Sumner. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Becker-Milnes Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Friday at the chuch. Survivors include his wife, Hazel; a son, Leon of Sumner; a daughter, Gwen Clark of East Moline, Ill.; a brother, Les of New Hampton; and two sisters, Elsie Albrecht and Emilda Niewoehner, both of Sumner.
