The remains of Rev. Father Shields, one of the pioneer priests of Waverly, who was buried directly in front of St. Mary's Catholic church, were removed and re-interred at St. Mary's cemetery, beside the grave of Rev. Father Gilchrist. High mass was celebrated this morning at 9 o'clock and Rev. Father O'Connor of Oelwein gave a very interesting lecture addressed chiefly to the older people of the congregation.
